Configuring profile features

Configure some Profiles featuresby modifying the profiles-policy.xml file. You can enable, disable, and set access control settings for the following Profiles features, according to profile type.

• Recent updates and messages
• Following
• Networking
• Profile photo
• Profile pronunciation file
• Reporting structure

• Tagging

• Configuring the recent updates feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the recent updates feature.

• Configuring the following feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the following feature.
• Configuring the networking feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the networking feature.
• Configuring the profile photo feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the profile photo feature.
• Configuring the pronunciation feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the pronunciation feature.
• Configuring the reporting structure feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the reporting structure feature. You can specify whether a user's manager information is available and whether a manager's direct reports are available.
• Configuring the status update feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the status update feature.
• Configuring the tagging feature
  Edit settings in the profiles-policy.xml file to configure the tagging feature.
