Troubleshooting network shares on Windows 2003

Windows® 2003 returns network errors when accessing shared content.

Your operating system is Microsoft® Windows 2003 Server and you encounter networks errors when trying to access shared content store. This is an operating system defect.

To work around this problem, complete the following steps:

  1. Change the Windows 2003 network duplex setting to Auto. For more information, see your operating system documentation.

  2. Change the default WINS settings to Use NetBIOS over TCP/IP.
