Creating an announcement

An announcement is a great way to get the word out to your whole community of bloggers. If you are a Blogs site administrator, you can post announcements for all users to see.

1. From the navigation bar, click Blogs then New Entry for the blog you want to make an announcement in.
2. Enter your announcement details, then click Advanced Settings to expand the section.
3. Select the checkbox for Post as announcement.
4. Post the entry. When published, the announcement appears at the top of the Public Blogs page.
