Content types

When you create a vanity URL for a page, you can choose which web content site visitors see when they access the page by using the vanity URL.

• Use default content

  Site visitors see the default content item that is set for the page.

• Use current content

  Select this option to associate the vanity URL with the content item that you are currently viewing on the page. Select a content item on the page to set it as current content in the vanity URL portlet.

• Use specified content

  This option is available when you edit a vanity URL that you have already created and associated content with. This option is not available when you are creating a new vanity URL. Select this option to keep the original content item associated with the vanity URL.
