Specifying how to handle portlets that the user is not authorized to view

If a portlet is hidden from a user, you can choose between displaying a message or nothing at all.

Select one of the following options:

• portlet is not displayed

  Select this option to have nothing displayed.

• portlet is not displayed, replaced by an informative message

  Select this option to have an information message displayed.
