How to manage authoring templates

From time to time, you might need to reapply or change the authoring templates that are assigned to a set of items.

• Changing the authoring template for an item
  You can change the authoring template that is associated with an item by applying another authoring template to the item. To accommodate differences between the templates, you can add or remove elements and specify how elements are processed.
• Reapplying an updated authoring template
  You can reapply changes that are made to an authoring template to the items that are created from the template.
