Web Content Manager - CSRF option in WCM comments

You can enable CSRF tokens to be used when creating or deleting a comment to prevent possible CSRF attacks. The feature is disabled by default and can be enabled through the WAS Console. For information on how ton enable CSRF tokens, see CSRF protection for adding and deleting comments.

Web Content Manager REST API v2 - Out of beta and additional APIs

The WCM REST v2 APIs are now out of beta and are fully supported. There are additional APIs related to Components, Workflow, Workflow Actions, Workflow Operations, Search Parameters, Site Area Templates, Managed Pages, and Projects. You can check the APIs in WCM REST v2 Swagger API Explorer. For more information, see REST service for Web Content Manager v2.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) has replaced Universal Analytics effective July 2023. For more information, refer to the Google Analytics notice document.

Updated documentation on locating and downloading DX products

Locating and Downloading DX Products has updated steps on how to locate DX products in the License & Delivery Portal site. The lists of packages in Package name according to DX Offering and Package name for DX Cumulative Fixes and Docker Releases are also updated.

Updated documentation for setting up OIDC in HCL DX

Configuring OIDC for HCL Digital Experience now provides detailed steps on how to configure DX with OIDC and transient users. The available JAAS login module for transient users is refined to support common transient user setups and scenarios. ConfigEngine tasks and administrative portlets are also added to ease the deployment and configuration of transient user capabilities.

End of Support Announced for Digital Experience v8.5 and 9

On June 30, 2023, HCL Software announced end of support for HCL Digital Experience versions 8.5 and 9, effective June 30, 2025. Customers are encouraged to upgrade to HCL Digital Experience version 9.5, released in a continuous delivery model. Refer to the Deprecated features page for more information.

For customers deploying HCL DX Cloud Native 9.5 on Kubernetes for entitlement checking, documentation on how to secure communication between HCL DX Cloud Native 9.5 and the HCL License Server (cloud or local) using a public and private keypair is now available.
