Supported installation and upgrade paths
Installation and upgrade are supported between equivalent HCL Digital Experience (DX) offerings. You can keep your profile at the current level or migrate your profile to the updated version.
The following are the available options for installing and upgrading to HCL DX 9.5.

Installation and upgrade for new HCL DX customers: HCL DX 9.5 can run on top of IBM WebSphere Application Server Version ND 9.0.5 using the installation path provided in this topic.

Installation and upgrade for customers running on DX 8.5 on WAS 8.5/9.0 and Java SDK 7.0 or 8.0: Upgrade your HCL DX 8.5 environment to HCL DX 9.5.

Installation and upgrade for customers running on DX 9.0 on WAS 8.5/9.0 and Java SDK 7.0 or 8.0: Upgrade your HCL DX 9.0 environment to HCL DX 9.5.

Automatically upgrade to DX 9.5 through the CF installation process: Customers deploying the latest DX continuous delivery release fix pack can automatically update their deployment to DX 9.5. This feature is available starting CF219.
