Symbolic Values :

NTATT_FTYPE_MASK      -  File type mask.

NTATT_FTYPE_FLAT      -  Normal, one fork file.

NTATT_FTYPE_MACBIN    -  MacBinaryII file.

NTATT_FTYPE_EBCDIC    -  EBCDIC flat file.

NTATT_NODEALLOC   -  Don't deallocate object when item is deleted.

Description :

These values are optional values for the encoding_type parameter of NSFNoteAttachFile. It specifies the file type of a file attachment.
