Download HCL Volt MX Go installers

Guides you on how to download the HCL Volt MX Go installers.

For Volt MX Go v2.1

Starting from the Volt MX Go v2.1 release, you must download the supported versions of installers of Volt Foundry and Volt Iris. You must also download the Volt MX Go Plugin Installer, which installs the Volt MX Go plugins to Volt Foundry and Volt Iris to enable the Volt MX Go features. The following procedure guides you in downloading the installers.

From My HCLSoftware portal

For Volt Foundry

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX - Current section and click Volt Foundry.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.
  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX and Volt MX Go - Archive section and click Volt Foundry - Archive.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Note

  • The minimum supported version of Volt Foundry is v9.5.18.0 for Volt MX Go.

  • For Windows, the file name of the installation file is VoltFoundrySetup-<version>_GA.zip.

    For example: VoltFoundrySetup-9.5.18.0_GA.zip

  • For Linux, the file name of the installation file is VoltFoundrySetup-<version>_GA.tar.gz.

    For example: VoltFoundrySetup-9.5.18.0_GA.tar.gz

  • For Single Container Solution, the file name of the installation file is VoltFoundrySingleContainer-<version>_GA.zip.

    For example: VoltFoundrySingleContainer-9.5.18.0_GA.zip

  • For Container Helm Installation, the file name of the installation file is HelmChart-<version>_GA.zip.

    For example: HelmChart-9.5.18.0_GA.zip

For Volt Iris

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX - Current section and click Volt Iris.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Note

The minimum supported version of Volt Iris is v9.5.50 for Volt MX Go.

For Volt MX Go Plugin Installer

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX - Current section and click Volt MX Go.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Note

  • For Windows, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Windows_<version>.exe

    For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Windows_V2.1.exe.

  • For Linux, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Linux_<version>.tar.gz.

    For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Linux_V2.1.tar.gz.

  • For MacOS, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_MacOS_<version>.zip.

    For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_MacOS_V2.1.zip.

  • The First Touch files are also included in the package and have the following file names:

    • FirstTouchRecipes.nsf.zip
    • FirstTouchRecipe.zip

From HCL Software License & Download Portal

  1. Go to HCL License & Download Portal link image.

  2. On the sign-in page, enter your username and click Next. The License & Download Portal home page opens.

  3. On the License & Download Portal home page, go to Your Downloads and search for and click HCL Volt MX.

  4. On the Download Packages page, download the Volt Foundry installer, Volt Iris installer, and Volt MX Go Plugin Installer.

    Note

    When downloading files for the first time by clicking Download Selected Files, you need to install the Download Manager Interface once. Follow the download and installation instructions. After installing the Download Manager Interface, you can resume your download.

    1. Click HCL Volt Foundry v9.5 Latest on the New Versions tab.

    2. On the Files tab on the Downloads page, select the installation file with the correct version based on your installation platform and click Download Selected Files.

      OR

      Click the download icon beside the filename of the selected installer.

      Note

      • The minimum supported version of Volt Foundry is v9.5.18.0 for Volt MX Go.

      • For Windows, the file name of the installation file is VoltFoundrySetup-<version>_GA.zip.

        For example: VoltFoundrySetup-9.5.18.0_GA.zip

      • For Linux, the file name of the installation file is VoltFoundrySetup-<version>_GA.tar.gz.

        For example: VoltFoundrySetup-9.5.18.0_GA.tar.gz

      • For Single Container Solution, the file name of the installation file is VoltFoundrySingleContainer-<version>_GA.zip.

        For example: VoltFoundrySingleContainer-9.5.18.0_GA.zip

      • For Container Helm Installation, the file name of the installation file is HelmChart-<version>_GA.zip.

        For example: HelmChart-9.5.18.0_GA.zip

    1. Click HCL Volt Iris v9.5 Latest on the New Versions tab.

    2. On the Files tab on the Downloads page, select the installer with the correct version based on your installation platform and click Download Selected Files.

      OR

      Click the download icon beside the filename of the selected installer.

      Note

      The minimum supported version of Volt Iris is v9.5.50 for Volt MX Go.

    1. Click the HCL Volt MX Go Version x.x.x package, where x.x.x refers to the version number.

    2. On the Files tab on the Downloads page, select the installer and click Download Selected Files.

      OR

      Click the download icon beside the filename of the installer.

      Note

      • For Windows, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Windows_<version>.exe

        For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Windows_V2.1.exe.

      • For Linux, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Linux_<version>.tar.gz.

        For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Linux_V2.1.tar.gz.

      • For MacOS, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_MacOS_<version>.zip.

        For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_MacOS_V2.1.zip.

      • The First Touch files are also included in the package and have the following file names:

        • FirstTouchRecipes.nsf.zip
        • FirstTouchRecipe.zip

For Volt MX Go v2.0.4 and earlier

Up to the Volt MX Go v2.0.4 release, you must download the Volt MX Go Foundry and Volt MX Go Iris installers. The following procedure guides you in doing that.

From My HCLSoftware portal

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX and Volt MX Go - Archive section and click Volt MX Go - Archive.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Tip

For the Volt MX Go Foundry and Iris installers, you can just select and download the installer applicable to your machine.

From HCL Software License & Download Portal

  1. Go to HCL Software License & Download Portal link image.

  2. On the sign-in page, enter your username and click Next. The License & Download Portal home page opens.

  3. On the License & Download Portal home page, go to Your Downloads and search for and click HCL Volt MX.

  4. On the Download Packages page, click the HCL Volt MX Go Version x.x.x package under the New Versions tab.

    Note

    Select the appropriate package version based on whether you want to perform a new installation or an upgrade.

  5. On the Files tab on the Downloads page, select all the files and click Download Selected Files.

    Note

    When downloading files for the first time by clicking Download Selected Files, you need to install the Download Manager Interface once. Follow the download and installation instructions. After installing the Download Manager Interface, you can resume your download.

    OR

    Click the download icon beside the filename of each file.

Tip

For the Volt MX Go Foundry and Iris installers, you can just select and download the installer applicable to your machine.
