Download HCL Volt MX Go installers

Guides you on how to download the HCL Volt MX Go installers.

For Volt MX Go v10

Starting Volt MX Go v10, you must download the supported versions of installers of Volt Foundry and Volt Iris.

If you want to enable VoltScript in Volt Foundry, you must also download the VoltScript Installation Tool, which installs the tool that enables VoltScript in Volt Foundry licensed with a Volt MX Go entitlement.

The following procedure guides you in downloading the installers.

For Volt Foundry

Info

The minimum supported version of Volt Foundry is v10.0.1 for Volt MX Go v10.

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX - Current section and click Volt Foundry.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

For Volt Iris

Info

The minimum supported version of Volt Iris is v10.0.1 for Volt MX Go v10.

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX - Current section and click Volt Iris.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

For VoltScript Installation Tool

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX Go - Current section and click Volt MX Go.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Info

The First Touch files are also accessible under Downloads and have the following file names:

  • FirstTouchRecipes.nsf.zip
  • FirstTouchRecipe.zip

For Volt MX Go v2.1 up to v2.1.2

Starting from the Volt MX Go v2.1 up to v2.1.2, you must download the supported versions of installers of Volt Foundry and Volt Iris. You must also download the Volt MX Go Plugin Installer, which installs the Volt MX Go plugins to Volt Foundry and Volt Iris to enable the Volt MX Go features. The following procedure guides you in downloading the installers.

Important

For Volt MX Go v2.1.2 installers, customers must contact Support by opening a support case to obtain the installers.

For Volt Foundry

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX - Current section and click Volt Foundry.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Info

  • The minimum supported version of Volt Foundry is v9.5.18.0 for Volt MX Go v2.1 up to v2.1.2.
  • If you wish to upgrade to Volt Foundry v10.0.0.0, read and understand the knowledge base article link image.

For Volt Iris

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX - Current section and click Volt Iris.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Info

  • The minimum supported version of Volt Iris is v9.5.54 for Volt MX Go v2.1 up to v2.1.2.
  • The Volt Iris v10.0.0 is not supported for Volt MX Go v2.1.2 or earlier.2. For more information, see the knowledge base article link image.

For Volt MX Go Plugin Installer

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX Go - Current section and click Volt MX Go.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Note

  • For Windows, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Windows_<version>.exe

    For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Windows_V2.1.exe.

  • For Linux, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Linux_<version>.tar.gz.

    For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_Linux_V2.1.tar.gz.

  • For MacOS, the file name of the installation file is HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_MacOS_<version>.zip.

    For example: HCLVoltMXGO_Plugin_Installer_Tool_MacOS_V2.1.zip.

  • The First Touch files are also included in the package and have the following file names:

    • FirstTouchRecipes.nsf.zip
    • FirstTouchRecipe.zip

For Volt MX Go v2.0.4 and earlier

End of Support (EOS)

HCL Volt MX Go v2.0.4 and earlier versions have reached End of Support (EOS) effective June 30, 2025. Kindly upgrade to HCL Volt MX Go v2.1 or later versions for continued support.

Up to the Volt MX Go v2.0.4 release, you must download the Volt Foundry and Volt Iris installers. The following procedure guides you in doing that.

  1. Go to My HCLSoftware portal link image.
  2. On the landing page, click Sign in.
  3. On the sign-in page, log in using your credentials.
  4. On the Software Downloads page, click HCL Volt MX.
  5. On the HCL Volt MX page, go to the HCL Volt MX and Volt MX Go - Archive section and click Volt MX Go - Archive.
  6. Under Releases, click the release version you want to download.
  7. Under Downloads, click the Direct download icon corresponding to the file you want to download.

Tip

For the Volt Foundry and Volt Iris installers, you can just select and download the installer applicable to your machine.
