Overview

iCal allows reading and writing of calendar information and is part of the fixed PIM Schema.

The iCal standard

The iCalendar Standard is an open standard for exchanging calendar and scheduling information between users and computers. The standard allows products from many vendors to transfer calendar information between each other.
